The Lacquer Factory that was established in 1997 is an 100% foreign owned company. Its head office and workshop are located in Hanoi.
In 2008, the Factory has more than 100 permanant workers and an office staff of 15 persons. The workers come mainly from the traditional lacquer villages
Our factory is mainly specialized in Lacquer but we have developed a wide range of products and finishes. Of different materials as bamboo, ceramic, MDF, composite, horn etc, we have made many diversified ranges of products including Tablewares (bowls, trays, chargers, placemats, coasters and servers of different shapes/sizes/designs); Decoration items (Vases, boxes, picture frames, candle holders, mirrors, photo album etc); Desktop wares (paper holder, pen holder, name card box, wastebin etc); Bathroom accessaries (bathroom set with cup, soap dish, tissue box, lotion pump, tray and wastebasket) and Furnitures (tables, stools, chest of draws, shelves, display etc). Apart from progressively becoming a production unit for different materials, which have been used in the North Vietnam for centuries, we always add something to this craft tradition: new designs, new colors, quality control, mass production capacity, etc.
